We are in search of a meticulous and skilled Cost Estimator to enhance our landscape construction division. The successful candidate will possess a robust background in calculating project expenses for both residential and commercial landscaping initiatives. This position demands exceptional analytical, organizational, and communication abilities to ensure precise and competitive project proposals.
Key Responsibilities:
Cost Estimation: Generate comprehensive cost assessments for landscaping construction projects, encompassing materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor services.
Bid Development: Create and present competitive bids for prospective projects, ensuring all requisite documentation and calculations are thorough and accurate.
Project Scope Analysis: Review project plans, specifications, and requirements to define project scope and deliverables.
Supplier Coordination: Request and assess quotes from vendors and subcontractors, ensuring optimal value and quality for materials and services.
Financial Analysis: Perform cost analysis to evaluate project viability and profitability. Identify opportunities for cost reduction and suggest value engineering solutions.
Client Interaction: Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, stakeholders, and team members. Provide regular updates on project estimates and address any inquiries or concerns.
Documentation Management: Keep accurate and current records of all estimates, bids, and project-related documentation.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with project management and design teams to ensure consistency in project estimates and deliverables.
Qualifications:
Education: A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in estimating for landscaping construction projects.
Salary: $95,000.00 - $120,000.00
