Hueman PE Talent Solutions is currently seeking a skilled remote-based **Financial Operations Manager** for their not-for-profit sector.

As a **Financial Operations Manager**, your primary responsibility will be to address the accounting requirements of the client, which encompasses: financial reporting, bank reconciliations, payroll integration, accounts payable, and additional services offered by Hueman. You will act as the brand representative of Hueman, initiating, nurturing, and developing the relationship as the main point of contact and internal liaison for the client. You will establish a clear vision for relationship development by formulating and executing a client relationship strategy that enables the client to meet their financial aspirations and objectives.

Business Oversight Responsibilities:
  1. Serve as the primary liaison for multiple, large, and intricate accounts. Deliver timely financial reports while providing guidance and support to business owners and operations managers to enhance margins and positively influence their financial outcomes. Discuss monthly financial reports, plans, and schedules with clients as necessary.
  2. Foster and sustain relationships by engaging with clients and key stakeholders, ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service.
  3. Identify, engage, and provide the appropriate resources and solutions for all services rendered by Hueman.
  4. Collaborate closely with clients to resolve issues related to complex financial reporting scenarios. Monitor financials to assist clients in adhering to guidelines and offer financial analysis and recommendations.
  5. Share best practices by leveraging various functions within Hueman to aid clients in enhancing their business operations. Coordinate with other internal Hueman teams for consultative support on all services such as: financial reporting, bank reconciliations, payroll, and accounts payable.
  6. Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to cross-functional teams aligned with specific client delivery processes.
  7. Maintain a referenceable client base by delivering outstanding service in accordance with the contract stipulations.
  8. Address client concerns and issues promptly to ensure they are resolved to the client's satisfaction. Escalate any significant issues to the management team swiftly to guarantee client contentment.
  9. Complete a monthly performance scorecard and meet with management to review the scorecard, outlining any necessary follow-up actions with timelines for areas needing attention.
  10. Utilize appropriate technology for communication, documentation, and follow-up with both internal and external stakeholders to fulfill all job responsibilities.
  11. Identify Same Account Revenue Growth (SARG) opportunities for each client, along with a strategic approach and detailed plan for promoting these services.
  12. Notify management of any client changes that may impact revenue positively or negatively (e.g., new store openings, new client ventures, client sales, store closures, etc.).
  13. Build and maintain relationships by gaining insights into the client's business to become a trusted advisor, laying the groundwork for selling additional Hueman products and services.
  14. Provide executive-level partnership by presenting Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) in collaboration with the division AVP when applicable. Participate in client Board or other executive-level meetings as requested.
Experience and Education Requirements:

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business with a focus on accounting/finance (or equivalent knowledge/experience), strong ability to manage priorities and functions, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, proficient data entry skills, and familiarity with personal computers, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • A minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, including financial statement analysis and presentation to executives.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to communicate effectively with individual owners, ownership groups, and C-level executives.
Desirable:
  • Accounting experience within the not-for-profit sector. Experience in a business process outsourcing (BPO) or public accounting environment.
  • Ability to collaborate with clients and facilitate organic business growth.

Compensation Range:
