Job Title: Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse

St. David's Georgetown Hospital is seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to expectant mothers and their families.

Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and provide patient care for all assigned patients
  • Conduct initial and ongoing assessment of the patient and family, develop an individualized patient care plan, and provide family-centered patient teaching
  • Identify and correct variances from the patient care plan, and facilitate discharge planning and teaching
  • Accurately administer and legibly document medications
  • Continuously evaluate the plan of care to determine need for modifications
  • Provide individualized nursing interventions based on the plan of care, and document patient responses to interventions
Requirements:
  • 1 year of clinical nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) - preferred
  • Current State of Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact Registered Nursing License
  • Registered Nurse, Certified in Inpatient Obstetrics (RNC-OB) - preferred
