We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Police Officer to join our team at Huron-Clinton Metroparks. As a Police Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining law and order, ensuring public safety, and providing exceptional customer service to our visitors.

• Patrol and Enforcement: Patrol park properties, enforce laws and regulations, and respond to emergency situations.
• Investigations: Conduct investigations, gather evidence, and interview witnesses and suspects.
• Community Policing: Build relationships with the community, provide information and assistance to visitors, and promote a positive public image.
• Administrative Duties: Perform administrative tasks, such as report writing, data entry, and maintenance of records.

• Education: Associate's degree or 60 credit hours in law enforcement, criminal justice, or a related field.
• Certifications: MCOLES certification or ability to obtain certification in the State of Michigan.
• Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency with firearms.
• Physical Demands: Ability to work in a variety of environmental conditions, lift heavy objects, and perform physical tasks.
