The successful candidate will work alongside skilled faculty and Section Chief of Gender Affirmation Surgery, Dr. Loren S. Schechter, to provide exceptional patient care and contribute to the growth of the Division.
Key Responsibilities- Participate in the multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care to patients undergoing gender affirmation surgery
- Gain exposure to facial feminization and top and bottom surgery, including microvascular reconstruction
- Contribute to clinical research, including publications and presentations at national and international meetings
- Collaborate with a team of highly trained faculty with a broad range of clinical interests
The Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Rush University Medical Center is a rapidly growing program, academically focused and comprised of a group of highly trained faculty with a broad range of clinical interests.
The applicant will have access to a wealth of resources, including research support, advance practice providers, a craniofacial orthodontist, and other faculty within the Division and Medical Center with expertise in transgender health.
