- Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and functionality.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
- Strong verbal communication skills and ability to use hand signals.
- General knowledge of the heavy highway construction industry.
- Reliable transportation and a valid CDL license.
- Union membership.
The physical demands of this role include:
- Lifting, moving, and carrying up to 50 pounds frequently.
- Standing, walking, sitting, and using hands to input information, handle, and carry objects.
- Reaching with hands and arms, climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, kneeling, bending, twisting, crouching, or crawling.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Frequent exposure to high noise levels.
The work environment is characterized by:
- Constant exposure to various weather conditions, including noise, dust, and other materials.
- Presence of heavy equipment, power tools, and traffic.
- Exposure to heights up to 50 feet and depths up to 80 feet.
The successful candidate will be expected to:
- Comply with all Company safety requirements, policies, and safety training.
