Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize critical thinking skills to identify clinical, social, safety, psychological, and spiritual needs of patients throughout their care journey.
- Encourage ongoing education in the clinical field by sharing research findings and resources from professional bodies.
- Play a role in the professional growth of the unit-based skin care committee.
- Exhibit leadership in clinical knowledge and evidence-based nursing practices.
- Foster a healthy work environment and exemplify cultural sensitivity.
- Implement the Nursing process within the framework of Relationship-Based Care to cultivate a healing atmosphere.
- A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience is essential.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:
- Possession of a current Pennsylvania Registered Professional Nurse license.
- Preferred certification in Wound Care.
- CPR certification is mandatory.
- Exceptional clinical judgment and critical thinking abilities are crucial.
- Capability to build and sustain positive relationships with healthcare colleagues.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification is required.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license is necessary.
