As a Packaging Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the packaging room, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate Packaging Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate all packaging equipment, including scales, sealers, rotap, conveyor belts, and moisture analyzers.
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies: Monitor and maintain inventory levels of raw materials, packaging components, and finished products.
  • Perform Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure products meet company standards.
  • Maintain a Clean and Safe Work Environment: Ensure the packaging room and surrounding areas are clean, organized, and free from hazards.
  • Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with other packaging operators and production staff to ensure smooth production and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Report Incidents and Issues: Promptly report any incidents, safety concerns, or quality issues to the Production Supervisor or Lead.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required.
  • Previous Packaging Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a packaging or production environment.
  • Strong Attention to Detail: Ability to accurately follow procedures and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate with team members and supervisors.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
