Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at UC San Diego Health. As a key member of our Breast Imaging department, you will be responsible for performing screening and diagnostic breast imaging procedures, as well as assisting with interventional breast procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain mammography equipment to ensure optimal image quality and patient safety
  • Collaborate with radiologists and clinicians to implement new procedures and processes
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of quality control guidelines and protocols
  • Provide exceptional patient care and customer service
  • Participate in continuing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest breast imaging technologies and techniques
Requirements
  • Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) or Mammography Technologist (RT(M))
  • Experience with mammography equipment and procedures
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Commitment to providing excellent patient care and customer service
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least one year of experience as a Mammography Technologist
  • Registered Technologist for Mammography (RT(M)) issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
