Job Title: Travel Speech Language Pathologist

Fusion Medical Staffing-Therapy is seeking a highly skilled Travel Speech Language Pathologist to join their team for a 13-week assignment in Gig Harbor, Washington.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to provide medically prescribed speech language pathology services to patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in speech therapy and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer medically prescribed speech language pathology services to patients
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records pertinent to patient treatment
  • Educate patients, other health professionals, and family regarding speech therapy
  • Observe and evaluate patient responses during treatment, document and report findings accordingly
  • Follow hospital safety rules and procedures
Requirements:
  • One to three years' experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
  • Strong background in speech therapy and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with a variety of personnel
  • Ability to grasp, fine manipulation, pushing/pulling, and move about when assisting with procedures and/or using department equipment
