Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, maintaining accurate records and monitoring patient responses.
- Conduct pre-procedure assessments to identify potential risks and develop strategies for mitigating them.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and optimize departmental efficiency.
- Current State license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Experience in GI endoscopy preferred, but not required.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification and ACLS certification (optional).
The Endoscopy Nurse will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, requiring strong communication and problem-solving skills. The ability to work under stress and maintain a calm demeanor in high-pressure situations is essential.
