Position Overview

The Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP/ACNP) plays a vital role in the evaluation and management of patients within the Neurology and Neuro Critical Care departments. This position involves working closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care to patients experiencing neurological conditions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work scheduled night shifts to provide continuous patient care.
  • Assist in assessing and treating patients at the Neurology and Neuroscience Center.
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records for each patient.
  • Conduct thorough patient interviews to gather medical and psychosocial histories.
  • Perform physical examinations and specialized procedures under physician supervision.
  • Collaborate with physicians to diagnose conditions and develop treatment plans.
  • Order and interpret laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging.
  • Educate patients about their health, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
  • Engage in professional development and attend relevant educational sessions.
  • Participate in research and contribute to statistical reports on patient care outcomes.
  • Train and mentor healthcare professionals, including students and residents.
  • Contribute to organizational committees focused on health services improvement.
  • Fulfill additional responsibilities as needed to support patient care.

Note: This position requires in-person attendance at designated healthcare facilities. Remote work is not available.
