British Swim School of Asheville is seeking a skilled and passionate Aquatic Educator to join our team As a key member of our instructional staff, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality swim lessons to students of all ages and skill levels.

About the Role

We are looking for someone who shares our passion for teaching children and adults how to swim, while also prioritizing water safety and enjoyment. If you have a strong background in swimming instruction, a positive attitude, and excellent communication skills, we want to hear from you

Key Responsibilities
  • Instruct swimming lessons to students of all ages and skill levels, following British Swim School's curriculum and protocols
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities
  • Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to students, promoting a safe and supportive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, ideas, and resources
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field (e.g., education, recreation, fitness)
  • At least 1 year of experience teaching swimming or working with children
  • Strong swimming ability and comfort in the water
  • CPR/AED certification and willingness to obtain Lifeguard Certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
