We are seeking a skilled Freight Handling Clerk to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling the movement of freight within our warehouse facility.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Process drivers' daily reports and paperwork in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Generate in or out gate interchanges for street turns as required.
  • Verify that the date of each move corresponds with drivers' paperwork.
  • Verify receipt of in and out gate documents and either signed POD or BOL.
  • Verify container and chassis numbers and IEP correspond with drivers' paperwork.
  • Scan and index documents into the system and verify their accuracy.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with logistics software.
