Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitates sales growth and offers support to customers.
  • Continuously expands product knowledge to better serve clientele.
  • Collaborates with team members to maintain an organized and visually appealing department; tasks include moving, stocking, and arranging merchandise.
  • May assist in various other departments as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Demonstrated expertise in cigars is required.
  • Strong communication skills with both customers and management.
  • Ability to lift weights of 40-50 pounds regularly.
  • Willingness to participate in tasting events to enhance customer recommendations.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
  • Competence in cash handling and making accurate change.
  • Familiarity with operating business equipment (e.g., scanners, computers).
  • Must pass any relevant alcohol training and maintain certification.
  • Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently.
  • Legible writing skills.
  • Ability to read small print.
  • Capability to stand or walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to navigate stairs repeatedly.
  • Comfortable working in cooler environments.
  • Adherence to scheduled work hours.
  • Consistent and reliable attendance.

Compensation for this role ranges from $16.25 to $18.00, depending on experience and availability.

Part-time positions in Cigar Sales are also available.
