Industrial Electrician

Prysmian Group is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to join our team in a First Shift role. As an Industrial Electrician, you will be responsible for investigating and resolving electrical maintenance issues in our industrial plant.

• Electrical Maintenance: Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues in our plant, including installation, troubleshooting, and repair of control panels and associated components, motor circuits, building and lighting circuits, and control circuits.
• Preventative Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance on electrical and electronic systems of production equipment and physical plant to ensure optimal performance and prevent downtime.
• Inspection and Calibration: Inspect and calibrate various equipment, including pressure transducers, electrical and pneumatic controllers, level indicators and controllers, pressure and temperature transmitters, footage counters, and limit switches.
• Design and Maintenance: Design and maintain logic systems for new equipment installation and retrofitting of old equipment.
• Tool and Equipment Maintenance: Maintain good housekeeping in assigned work areas and take care of tools and equipment.

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience as an electrician in an industrial plant.
• Skills: Methodical approach to troubleshoot issues, good analytical skills, strong electrical knowledge of electrical systems, breakers, and power distribution systems, motors, motor control equipment, instrumentation, PLCs, and AC/DC drive systems.
• Preferred Qualifications: AS degree in electricity/electronics or equivalent industrial electrician work experience.

This role requires the ability to stand, walk, and bend frequently. Occasional lifting of objects weighing less than 10 pounds, 10-25 pounds, and 25-30 pounds may be required. The employee will be required to work productively and cooperatively in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and respond efficiently and courteously to unanticipated problems and crises.
