Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Preschool Teacher Floater to join our team at Primrose School of Cupertino. As a key member of our educational team, you will provide exceptional care and support to our young students, ensuring a safe and engaging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide rest, meal, and bathroom breaks to classroom teachers, ensuring seamless support and continuity of care.
  • Substitute for classroom teachers in their absence, maintaining the highest standards of education and care.
  • Observe and adhere to all rules and regulations pertaining to the health, safety, and well-being of our children.
  • Assist classroom teachers in curriculum development and classroom management, promoting a collaborative and supportive learning environment.
  • Attend all required staff meetings, workshops, and school functions, staying up-to-date on the latest educational trends and best practices.
  • Maintain a professional personal appearance, attitude, and work behavior at all times, embodying the values of Primrose Schools.
Requirements
  • 12 or more core units in Early Childhood Education, with a strong focus on child development and education.
  • Work experience in a licensed child care facility, preferably as a floater or support teacher.
  • Meet the basic requirements of local child care regulatory agencies, including immunization, health screening, fingerprinting, and background checks.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Pleasant and friendly demeanor, with an outgoing personality and a strong commitment to customer service.
  • Highly professional and dependable, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of the social, emotional, and creative needs of young children, with a passion for early childhood education.
