Gastrointestinal Specialist

**Key Responsibilities:**
* Provide high-quality care for patients with a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions, including but not limited to, inflammatory bowel disease, liver disease, and gastrointestinal cancers.
* Perform diagnostic procedures such as endoscopies, colonoscopies, and other gastrointestinal assessments.
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and diagnostic findings.
**Collaboration & Communication:**
* Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including primary care physicians, surgeons, and nursing staff, to ensure comprehensive patient management.
* Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, and care plans.
**Clinical Excellence:**
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest advancements in gastroenterology and incorporate best practices into patient care.
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of clinical protocols and standards.
**Documentation & Compliance:**
* Ensure accurate and thorough documentation of patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes in the electronic medical record (EMR).
* Adhere to all relevant healthcare regulations and standards to ensure compliance and optimal patient care.
**Qualifications:**
* Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution.
* Board Certification or Eligibility in Gastroenterology.
* Unrestricted Medical License to practice in Texas or the ability to obtain one.
* Experience: A strong background in gastrointestinal disorders and procedures.
* Skills: Excellent diagnostic, procedural, and communication skills, with a patient-centered approach to care.
**Compensation & Benefits:**
* Base Salary: Starting at $575,000 annually, with additional incentives based on performance and productivity.
