About the Job
">The Salvation Army USA Southern Territory is seeking a reliable and skilled individual to fill the role of Truck Driver/Warehouse Worker. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for driving Salvation Army trucks to scheduled routes, picking up donations, and delivering merchandise to customers. Additionally, you will assist in maintaining the orderliness and cleanliness of the warehouse area.

- Drive Salvation Army trucks to scheduled routes, adhering to established standards and state driving regulations">
- Pick up donations and deliver merchandise to customers">
- Assist in loading and unloading donations, including furniture, appliances, clothing, etc.">
- Maintain the safety, security, and accountability of the vehicle and contributions at all times">
- Perform tasks related to truck maintenance, fueling, and logging mileage">
- Work effectively with the Warehouse Supervisor to maintain awareness of scheduled pick-ups and ensure items are picked up">
- Assist in sorting, pricing, and tagging donated items for store display">
- Participate in cleaning and maintaining the warehouse area, including floors, tables, and work areas">
Requirements
">We are looking for an individual with a valid driver's license, preferably with experience driving a heavy-duty truck or large van. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to read and follow maps and handwritten directions, and have knowledge of effective customer service techniques.
