Advocate Aurora Health is seeking an experienced Cath Lab Technologist for a full-time position in Hinsdale, Illinois.

Key Responsibilities
  • Procedure Assistance: Assist physicians during cardiovascular procedures, ensuring the safe and effective use of technical equipment.
  • Patient Liaison: Serve as a liaison between patients, their families, and physicians, providing exceptional care and support throughout the treatment process.
  • Quality Control: Maintain quality control standards in all areas of the lab, adhering to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Cath Lab Technologist, preferably with expertise in PTCA and EPS procedures.
  • An Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology (RTR) or a related field.
  • Proficiency in current technologies and procedures, including ACLS and RCIS certification.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a high-stress environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance and work flexible hours, including on-call shifts.
