Magnetic Resonance Imaging Specialist Role

Orthopaedic Associates is in search of a PRN Magnetic Resonance Imaging Specialist to provide services as required. The ideal candidate should possess a valid ARRT certification along with pertinent experience, particularly in orthopaedic settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct magnetic resonance imaging to identify various pathologies
  • Execute MRI scans as instructed
  • Ensure the safe functioning of MRI equipment
  • Uphold safety and integrity within the MRI suite
  • Foster and maintain professional relationships with fellow staff and medical personnel

Qualifications and Skills

  • Understanding of MRI quality assurance protocols
  • Current ARRT RT (R)(MR) certification is mandatory
  • BLS certification is preferred
  • Experience in healthcare environments is advantageous
  • Familiarity with medical terminology is essential
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

Work Environment:

  • Outpatient healthcare facility

Work Schedule:

  • Flexible hours available for scan coverage
  • Primarily day shifts, Monday through Friday
  • No on-call duties required

Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year in Medical Imaging is preferred

Licensure/Certification:

  • ARRT Certification is required
  • BLS Certification is preferred
