Diesel Mechanic Specialist

Ledgemere Transportation is seeking a Diesel Mechanic Specialist to join our team. As a specialist, you will perform complex operations on large commercial vehicles, including engine, electrical, fuel, brake, and exhaust repairs.
This is a critical role in ensuring the safe and reliable operation of our fleet. The successful candidate will have 2+ year(s) experience as a diesel mechanic or mechanic, accreditation from a school or certification program, and the ability to pass a background check.
Responsibilities and Qualifications:
- Experience in performing preventive maintenance inspections and completing required maintenance operations.
- Ability to perform unscheduled maintenance as needed with direction from the Fleet Maintenance Supervisor.
- Proven experience in diagnosing and repairing complex issues related to engines, electrical systems, fuel systems, brakes, and exhaust systems.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary and Benefits:This is a full-time position with an estimated salary of $24-29 per hour, depending on experience. We also offer competitive benefits, including health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
