Join Our Team: Early Childhood Educator

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to support our teaching staff at The Peace Rose Montessori School. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our young students.

About the Position:

This is a part-time position that requires flexibility, as hours may vary based on the needs of the school. The successful candidate will assist in creating a nurturing environment for children through engaging activities and interactions. They will also be responsible for supporting the Lead Teacher with daily tasks and communicating with parents and staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with morning and afternoon routines
  • Support Lead Teacher with lesson planning and implementation
  • Care for children's physical and emotional needs
  • Communicate with parents and staff

Requirements:

  • NJ Substitute Certificate required
  • 1-3 years experience working with preschoolers
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be 18 or older

Salary: $22-$28 per hour (based on experience and education)
