Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to ensure compliance with industry certifications and legal requirements
  • Manage profit and loss, driving business growth and improvement
  • Lead regular KPI reviews to ensure attainment of results and a sense of urgency
  • Drive a lean operating system mentality and culture, implementing a roadmap for breakthrough operating performance
  • Build, coach, and mentor an outstanding team, maintaining morale at a high level
  • Ensure key operational metrics and KPI systems are consistently tracking the appropriate measures
  • Coordinate effectively with sales, marketing, design engineering, and other functional organizations
  • Create project lists for continuous improvements to drive manufacturing costs down
  • Organize and maintain a development program for key subordinates
  • Participate in training programs and facilitate employee communication meetings
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in a key leadership/management role at a manufacturing facility, with experience as a Plant Manager required
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Business, Engineering, or other technical/business-related field highly desired, with years of plant management experience substitutable in lieu of formal degree
