Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Pastry Cook to join our team at The Peabody Hotel Group. As a Pastry Cook, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and producing high-quality desserts and baked goods for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and prepare desserts and baked goods for restaurants, room service, and banquets
  • Produce centerpieces for banquets and buffets
  • Prepare amenity orders for room service
  • Maintain proper storage procedures and minimize waste
  • Assist the Baker as needed to ensure optimum service to guests
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience as a Pastry Cook in a similar hotel or restaurant setting
  • Food handling certificate
  • Fluency in English, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards
Working Conditions

The Pastry Cook will work in a commercial kitchen environment, exposed to variable temperatures, noise levels, and physical demands. The ability to lift up to 100 pounds and stand for long periods is required.
