Plumbing Specialist

Nandail Property Management is seeking a skilled and experienced Plumbing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional services to our clients and customers in the field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing on-site plumbing services to clients, including troubleshooting and repairing issues.
• Working at client sites, often at height or in cramped conditions, to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
• Preparing cost estimates and quotes for clients.
• Quickly identifying and resolving maintenance problems to minimize downtime and ensure optimal system performance.
• Testing pipes for leaks and ensuring that all plumbing systems are safe, functional, and compliant with relevant codes and regulations.
• Cutting, welding, and assembling pipes, tubes, fittings, and fixtures to ensure seamless system integration.
• Inspecting and testing plumbing systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and efficiently.
• Performing routine maintenance activities to guarantee the optimal functionality and performance of equipment.
• Installing, repairing, and maintaining pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing equipment used for water distribution and wastewater disposal.
• Installing hot and cold water, sanitation, and drainage systems.
• Setting up rainwater harvesters and lead soakers.
• Installing central heating systems and domestic fuel-burning appliances using gas, oil, or solid fuel.
• Designing water and heating systems to meet client needs and specifications.
• Cutting and joining pipes and fittings to ensure seamless system integration.
• Creating records of materials used and maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities.
• Responding to emergency call-outs, such as floods or boiler breakdowns, to ensure prompt and effective service delivery.

Requirements:

• Valid plumbing license and certification.
• Own transportation and valid driver's license, with a willingness to travel to client sites.
• Good working knowledge of water supply, heating, and ventilation systems.
• Proficiency in reading blueprints and using plumbing tools.
• Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills.
• Good listening and communication skills.
• Good interpersonal skills and patience.
• Physical dexterity and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage time effectively.
