Job Responsibilities

Epic Travel Staffing is looking for a skilled Travel Echo Technician/Cardiac Sonographer.

Shift: Variable Days / Start times between 6a and 8:30a (8's and 10's) with 40 hours per week and on-call requirements.

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 4 years of recent experience in the field.
  • Experience in a Level 1 trauma center is essential.
  • Academic background in relevant fields.
  • BCLS certification is required.
  • Certification from either CCI or RDCS- Adult is acceptable.
  • Experience with left-handed scanning is preferred.
  • Background in transplant hospitals is a plus.
Additional Information:

This position is within a large academic center specializing in advanced cardiovascular disease treatment. Typical cases include heart transplants, structural heart issues, and infiltrative diseases. Daily tasks may involve a mix of inpatient and outpatient care, bedside echo, Stress Echo, TEE, or OR procedures. Candidates should be proficient in complex echo pathology, including HOCM, regional wall motion abnormalities, aortic stenosis, and other valvular defects.

Productivity expectations are set at 6-8 studies in an 8-hour day or 8-9 studies in a 10-hour day. Shifts can vary based on departmental needs and assignments.
