About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Groundperson to join our team at Nelson Tree Service, LLC. As a Groundperson, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our line clearance services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate chainsaws and wood chippers to clear vegetation and debris from utility lines.
  • Drag and gather brush and logs, feeding them into the wood chipper.
  • Service and maintain equipment, ensuring it is in good working order.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Entry-level position, no experience required, but previous experience is a plus.
Working Conditions

This is a physically demanding role that requires working in various weather conditions, including extreme temperatures and exposure to nature. You must be able to wear personal protective equipment and work safely around hazardous equipment.
