Banquets Houseperson

Rivers Casino is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Banquets Houseperson to join our team. As a key member of our events staff, you will be responsible for setting up banquet rooms according to event floor plans, ensuring impeccable cleanliness, and providing exceptional customer service.

This role requires a self-starter with a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently. You will be expected to follow directions from management, maintain a neat and clean appearance, and adhere to company policies and procedures.

• Clean and set up banquet rooms according to event specifications
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness in the banquet area, including tables, chairs, floors, and restrooms
• Stock and replenish side stations and buffet areas as needed
• Provide exceptional customer service, responding to guest needs and resolving issues promptly
• Assist with trash removal, bus cart maintenance, and other duties as assigned
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless execution of events

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English
• Regular, predictable attendance and flexibility to work varied shifts
• Prolonged standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 75 pounds
