Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physical Therapist to provide physical therapy services to patient inmates. The ideal candidate will have experience evaluating and treating patients with various acute and chronic orthopedic dysfunctions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide physical therapy evaluations, progress notes, updated plans of care, and discharges.
  • Collaborate with other Physical Therapy (PT) clinic team members and medical staff to improve patient care.
  • Assist in Physical Therapy Quality Improvement Measures and Data Collections.
  • Assignments to other duties or locations may be necessary to meet the clinical and administrative needs of the Department.
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an accredited Doctor of Physical Therapy program.
  • Current physical therapy license in Virginia.
  • Experience evaluating and treating patients with various acute and chronic orthopedic dysfunctions.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to play an active role collaborating with other medical professionals to provide optimum care.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Possesses leadership skills.
  • Experience in patient-centered program development within a rehabilitation setting.
  • Clinical experience in multiple settings such as outpatient orthopedic, rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or acute facilities.
