Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is $62,500, with a competitive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, 401k retirement plan with a 4.5% match, and 11 paid holidays.

Job Description

As a Behavioral Therapist, you will be responsible for providing outpatient behavioral treatment services to individuals with substance use disorders, mental health disorders, and co-occurring disorders. Your duties will include:

  • Assessing clients' needs and developing individualized action plans
  • Providing individual, group, and family therapy sessions as needed
  • Coordinating services with other staff and agencies to ensure comprehensive care
  • Implementing established treatment plans and providing professional interventions
  • Contacting collaterals and family members to encourage their participation in the client's treatment

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • A Master's degree in a relevant field, commensurate with required licensing
  • Educational qualifications must match regulatory requirements
  • Preferred: One year of experience in human services working with individuals with serious mental illness or substance use disorder
