Compensation

Key Responsibilities
  • Daily care and exercise of greyhounds
  • Assist in evaluating adoption applicants
  • Regular cleaning and sanitization of kennels and surrounding areas
  • Monitor the health of each greyhound, including administering medications and grooming
  • Supervise playgroups to ensure the safety of all dogs
Qualifications
  • No high school diploma or GED required
  • Experience with large dogs in a kennel environment preferred
  • Able to recognize when a dog requires medical attention
  • Organized and capable of managing schedules and priorities
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Must possess a valid motor vehicle registration and pass a drug screening
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift greyhounds and materials weighing up to 80 pounds
  • Comfortable with prolonged standing, walking, bending, and reaching
  • Willingness to work in various weather conditions, both indoors and outdoors
