Speech Pathologist Opportunity

AdventHealth Medical Group is seeking a skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team in Daytona Beach, FL. As a Speech Pathologist, you will provide self-directed, effective therapy to patients in accordance with Florida Speech Pathology Association standards and pursuant to Florida Department of Professional Regulation.

Key Responsibilities:

Collects comprehensive data pertinent to patients' health or situation
Performs consults as indicated from database collection
Analyzes the assessment data to determine course of treatment
Identifies expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient or situation
Develops and implements the patient's Plan of Care to attain expected outcomes
Evaluates progress toward attainment of expected outcomes

Requirements:

Master's degree in any Speech Therapy field
Current State of Florida license in Speech Pathology
Certificate of Clinical Competence via American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
BLS Certified
Tracheostomy experience

Preferred Qualifications:
Two years of clinical experience with a varied patient population
