Job Overview:

The Overnight Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of public areas, treatment rooms, and locker rooms within the Spa and Fitness Center. This role ensures that all areas are adequately stocked with necessary supplies, towels, and linens.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of all areas, including the Spa facility, fitness center, locker rooms, showers, and equipment, adhering to federal, state, local, and company standards.
  • Restock and replenish supplies and products, including clean towels and fresh water.
  • Maintain guest lounge and deck areas in a tidy and sanitary condition.
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and quarterly cleaning checklists.
  • Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and other surfaces.
  • Vacuum and spot clean carpets and upholstery.
  • Clean and shine glass and metal surfaces.
  • Empty trash receptacles and replace trash bags as needed.
  • Follow all safety guidelines to ensure the safety of self, colleagues, and guests.

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Experience: No prior experience required

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance.
  • Understanding of cleaning standards and methods.
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning tools and chemicals.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this role. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

  • Frequent lifting of cleaning supplies (up to 30 lbs.), pushing and pulling equipment, and carrying supplies.
  • Regular bending to operate machines and load cleaning supplies.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Work Environment:

Prolonged physical activity in a climate-controlled indoor environment.
