Job Summary

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Medical Surgery team at Central Maine Medical Center. As a CNA, you will provide direct and indirect patient care under the direction of a RN or physician, assisting patients with activities of daily living and providing emotional support.

Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Provide personal care and comfort to patients
  • Communicate with providers and team members about changes in patient's clinical condition and needs of the patient's family
  • Provide direct and indirect patient care services that meet the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care
Requirements
  • Current Certified Nursing Assistant Certification in the State of Maine required
  • Active on the State of Maine CNA registry required
  • Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS within 6 months of hire required
  • 1 year of continuous CNA experience preferred
  • High School graduate or equivalent preferred
