Inpatient Clinical Pharmacist

We are seeking a skilled Inpatient Clinical Pharmacist to join our team at Reedsburg Area Medical Center. This per diem position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

• Provide medication therapy management services in collaboration with other healthcare providers to ensure safe, effective, efficient, and cost-effective drug therapy.
• Perform clinical and distributive tasks as necessary, including patient care rounds, admission and discharge medication reconciliation, medication orders management, patient education, and drug information.

• Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy; additional education preferred.
• ASHP-accredited hospital pharmacy (PGY-1) residency training preferred.
• Licensed to practice in the State of Wisconsin.
• Certification by the Board of Pharmacy is preferred.

• The successful candidate will be expected to handle hazardous drugs, including chemotherapy, with appropriate primary and secondary engineering controls.
• Occasional exposure to infectious blood/body fluids and diseases requiring infection control practices, red infectious waste.
• Occasional exposure to needles/syringes/sharps during medication administration, assistance with treatments, invasive procedures.
• Occasional exposure to chemical compounds of medications and treatments.

Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
