Job Summary

Atria Senior Living is seeking a highly skilled Community Business Director to oversee and manage all business office functions. This includes handling inquiries from residents, employees, and vendors, as well as supervising front desk and clerical staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, finance, or a related field and excellent communication skills.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Maintain accurate employee payroll and benefits data, ensuring timely and correct payments.
  2. Supervise and direct front desk and clerical staff, providing guidance on performance expectations and company policies.
  3. Coordinate with the Executive Director to review and advise on billing issues, expenditures, and budgetary matters.
  4. Manage accounts receivable, pursuing and following up on unpaid balances.
  5. Codify accounts payable, accruing expenses as necessary.
  6. Ensure correct coding of community accounts payable and accrue expenses as needed.
  7. Direct collection of on-site employee data related to demographics, payroll, employee benefits, and leave administration.

Requirements
  1. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field.
  2. Two years of experience in business office functions, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  3. Working knowledge of general accounting, billing, and collections practices.
  4. Able to present information clearly and accurately, even under stressful conditions.
  5. Past history of solid performance management skills, including coaching and documentation.
