Construction Superintendent

Job Summary:

Eagle Eye Electric, a subsidiary of Bering Straits Native Corporation, is seeking a qualified General Construction Superintendent for an IDIQ Task Order type contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient execution of the project, overseeing project plans, and coordinating with the project team.

Responsibilities:

• Implement project plans and oversee project execution
• Schedule and execute all phases of construction
• Estimate costs using RSMeans pricing
• Attend regular internal and external meetings, including daily discussions on project health and safety
• Prepare daily reports with the Project Manager, Site Safety & Health Officer, and Quality Control/Quality Assurance Manager
• Review and process project submittals
• Coordinate with on-site subcontractors

Qualifications:

• High School Degree or equivalent
• Demonstrated experience with RSMeans pricing
• A minimum of 3 years in Construction, preferably with Federal/DOD work experience
• OSHA 30 Training

Preferred Qualifications:

• Federal government or DOD experience in construction
• First Aid/CPR certification

Work Environment:

The job is performed in an office setting with exposure to computer screens and requires extensive use of a computer, keyboard, mouse, and multi-line telephone system. Occasional travel may be required.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Hires and supervises direct reports

Additional Qualifying Factors:

As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable background check results. If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain the appropriate clearance levels required and be able to obtain access to military installations.
