Position Summary

This full-time role is essential within our vibrant nonprofit organization, dedicated to fostering and managing corporate collaborations.

Reporting Structure

  • Reports to: Director of Sustainable Giving Strategy & Partnerships
  • Direct Reports: None

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage in initiatives to develop, solicit, and nurture corporate partnerships, including crafting proposals, delivering impact assessments, and conducting face-to-face meetings to enhance relationships.
  • Build strategic alliances with corporations through various channels such as employee volunteer initiatives, financial contributions, fundraising efforts, in-kind donations, skills-based assistance, and marketing partnerships.
  • Maintain thorough and timely records of all partnership activities, communications, financial commitments, and necessary reporting in Salesforce to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to effectively publicize high-level corporate support and communicate it to relevant stakeholders.
  • Work alongside Volunteer and Alumni Relations and Operations teams to organize employee volunteer initiatives, ensuring successful execution and participant satisfaction.
  • Follow up on corporate prospects or leads, secure sponsorships, and cultivate new corporate relationships to broaden the organization’s network and resources.
  • Manage a portfolio of existing corporate partners with the goal of enhancing engagement and deepening connections.
  • Perform additional duties as necessary to support the success of corporate partnerships and organizational objectives.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year in corporate partnership management, focusing on corporate volunteer programs, fundraising, and donor relations. Experience in the nonprofit sector is highly preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, proficient in Google Workspace (Google Docs, Google Sheets) and Microsoft Office. Familiarity with Salesforce is advantageous. Candidates should be well-organized and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
