SERVPRO is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Restoration Contents/Textile Technician to join our team. As a valued member of our crew, you will play a critical role in helping customers recover from fire and water damage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inventory and Recovery: Conduct thorough inventories of contents and textiles in homes and businesses affected by disasters, ensuring accurate documentation and safe transportation to our facility.
  • Cleaning and Restoration: Clean and restore contents and textiles on-site or in our facility, adhering to SERVPRO's production guidelines and quality standards.
  • Equipment Management: Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, ensuring all necessary equipment, products, and supplies are readily available for each project.
  • Communication and Teamwork: Effectively communicate with crew chiefs and other technicians to ensure seamless project execution, addressing customer needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Job Site Preparation: Prepare rooms and areas for work activities, setting up staging areas and equipment as needed to ensure efficient project completion.
  • Job Site Cleanup: Perform end-of-day and end-of-job cleanup and breakdown, leaving job sites with a clean and orderly appearance.
  • Safety and Risk Management: Understand and follow safety and risk management guidelines on job sites, in the office, and while traveling.

Requirements:

  • Effective Communication: Possess excellent oral communication skills.
  • Experience and Certifications: Preferably have experience in cleaning and restoration, with IICRC certifications.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Travel and Flexibility: Ability to travel locally and out of state as necessary, with flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Background Check: Successfully complete a background check, subject to applicable law.

Physical and Work Environment Requirements:

  • Lifting and Mobility: Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and lift up to 100 pounds with assistance.
  • Chemical Exposure: Exposure to chemicals.
  • Physical Demands: Walking, standing, driving, sitting, climbing, and working at ceiling heights, with ability to work in tight spaces.
