Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Welder to join our team at Cedar Point. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing welding operations, fabricating parts, and working with various tools and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Weld items according to specified layouts and blueprints
  • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, work orders, and welding procedures
  • Operate welding equipment and machines as required
  • Prepare parts for repair and maintain accurate records of repairs and inspections
  • Work at heights, including aerial lifts, crane baskets, and catwalks
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
  • Effective communication skills and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Ability to follow manufacturer's manuals and blueprints
  • Willingness to work various shifts and days, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to pass a mandatory drug test and background check
