Pediatric Speech Therapist Opportunity in Virginia

Soliant Health is a leading provider of healthcare staffing solutions, and we are currently seeking a skilled Pediatric Speech Therapist to join our team in a great school district near Tuckahoe, Virginia.

Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Speech Pathologist to work with students from Pre-K to 12th grade, providing individualized speech therapy interventions and assessments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric speech therapy and be able to work effectively with students, teachers, and other school staff.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assessments and Evaluations: Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to identify students' speech and language needs, and develop individualized treatment plans.
  • IEP's & Goal Setting: Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEP's) that meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Administrative Paperwork and Meetings: Complete and maintain accurate and timely administrative paperwork, including progress reports and meeting minutes.
  • Pre-K-12 Caseloads: Manage a caseload of students from Pre-K to 12th grade, providing individualized speech therapy sessions and group therapy as needed.
  • Full and Part Time Openings: We are seeking both full-time and part-time candidates to join our team.
Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology: A Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology is required.
  • ASHA Certification: ASHA certification is required.
  • Manchester State SLP License: A Manchester State SLP license is required.
  • Previous Schools and/or Pediatrics Experience: Previous experience working in schools and/or pediatrics is preferred.
