Salem Health & Rehabilitation Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Wound Nurse to join our team. As a Wound Nurse, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing our wound care program, ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care and attention.
Job Responsibilities:- Provide direct care to patients and supervise nursing staff in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
- Communicate patient status to the Unit Manager and DON.
- Assist in the supervision, orientation, and training of nursing staff.
- Participate in patient care planning conferences with other disciplines.
- Current license with the Virginia Board of Nursing to practice as an LPN or RN.
- One year of previous experience in wound nursing, with long-term care experience preferred.
- Wound care certification desirable.
- Management/leadership experience preferred.
- Health, dental, vision, and life insurance.
- Paid Time Off.
- A 401K retirement plan.
