Position Overview

Job Title: Vascular Sonographer

Job Type: Contract

Key Responsibilities

The Vascular Sonographer will be responsible for performing high-quality ultrasound examinations of the vascular system. This role requires a keen understanding of anatomy and physiology, as well as the ability to operate ultrasound equipment effectively.

Essential Qualifications
  • Current certification from the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), or the ability to obtain certification within one year of employment.
  • Completion of a CAAHEP-accredited program in ultrasound or cardiovascular technology, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) is mandatory upon hiring.
  • A minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required.
  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in cardiovascular sonography.
Preferred Qualifications
  • More than 5 years of experience in cardiovascular sonography is advantageous.
  • Willingness to commence employment within a specified timeframe after accepting the offer.
