Job Summary:

Integrity Healthcare is seeking an experienced Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. As a key member of our trauma and acute care surgery service, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of experts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Clinically manage trauma and acute care surgery patients through the continuum of care, including rounding, discharges, new surgical consults, and responding to traumas in the ED
  • Make independent decisions and collaborate with rotating resident physicians, attending surgeons, subspecialty consultants, and a multidisciplinary team of experts
  • Attend surgical clinic every Wednesday to evaluate post-operative patients with a census ranging from 10-12 patients

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of inpatient NP experience, preferably in Trauma Surgery
  • Will consider new graduates with RN experience in Trauma/Surgical ICU

Education Requirements:

  • MSN
  • Graduate of an accredited NP program approved by the BRN
  • DEA current
  • ACLS/BLS
  • ATLS upon hire
