Job Summary

This position requires a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team at Stallergenes Greer. As a Veterinary Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for manufacturing components for use in the testing lab and for the assembly of kits for use in affiliated laboratories.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manufacture components for use in the testing lab and for the assembly of kits for use in affiliated laboratories
  • Troubleshoot assay and reagent issues to ensure accurate and reliable results
  • Maintain macELISA component inventory levels per contractual obligations to ensure seamless operations
  • Perform coating of plates, kits, and reagents, as well as specific antigen preparations to meet quality standards
  • Responsible for current database of assay results and monitors performance on a weekly basis to identify areas for improvement
  • Reviews daily reports, determines assay validity, and troubleshoots assay and reagent issues to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Assist in maintaining lab spaces in a neat and orderly fashion to ensure a safe and efficient working environment
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED; prefer AA Degree or greater with emphasis in life sciences and/or chemistry
  • Must be proficient with computers, with an emphasis on Microsoft Office software; will be required to become proficient with Stallergenes Greer unique software
  • Must be detail-oriented and able to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be an industrious and motivated individual with a strong work ethic
  • Must be a team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
