Medical Telemetry Nurse Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Medical Telemetry Nurse to join our team at Providence Medford Medical Center. As a Medical Telemetry Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical telemetry unit.

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and assess patients' medical conditions, including cardiac rhythms, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet patients' unique needs.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current Oregon Registered Nurse License.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • 1 year of nursing experience in a medical telemetry unit.
