Dawn Homes Management is seeking a Property Leasing Specialist to manage leasing activities for our esteemed apartment communities. As a prominent and expanding Property Management Company, we oversee a diverse portfolio of residential properties.

Role Overview

As a Property Leasing Specialist, you will be instrumental in creating a welcoming environment for both prospective and current residents. Your friendly demeanor and genuine interest in their needs will leave a lasting impression.

Your responsibilities will encompass all aspects of apartment leasing, including move-ins and lease renewals. You will engage directly with potential and existing residents to maximize occupancy rates. This involves generating interest, qualifying leads, leasing apartments, and preparing necessary documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Marketing

  • Attract interest in the property by effectively communicating its advantages and conducting personalized tours.
  • Understand and address the needs of future residents while promoting property features and amenities.
  • Build rapport and confidently ask for the lease agreement, ensuring timely follow-ups.
  • Conduct thorough property inspections to ensure a positive first impression.
  • Maintain knowledge of company policies, procedures, and competitive market conditions.
  • Regularly update marketing materials, including video tours and social media content.
Resident Relations and Customer Service
  • Deliver outstanding customer service that aligns with our commitment to exceed residents' expectations.
  • Resolve resident concerns in a friendly and professional manner, knowing when to escalate issues.
  • Communicate effectively and maintain positive interactions with residents, vendors, and team members.
  • Provide ongoing communication with residents until their concerns are fully addressed.
Administrative Duties
  • Prepare accurate property reports, leases, and resident files in a timely manner.
  • Stay organized by maintaining files and prioritizing tasks efficiently.
  • Handle phone inquiries and correspondence to minimize delinquencies.
  • Schedule move-in orientations for new residents.
  • Document maintenance requests with detailed descriptions and follow up on their completion.
  • Track appointments, move-ins, services, and billing accurately.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience in customer service and sales is required.
  • Prior experience in apartment leasing is advantageous.
  • Experience in retail, hospitality, or customer-focused roles is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong relationship-building capabilities.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
  • Dependable and self-motivated with a results-driven mindset.
  • Availability to work weekends or extended hours as needed.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record.
  • Reliable transportation is essential.
Physical Requirements
  • This position involves extensive computer and phone usage.
  • Frequent standing, walking, and bending, along with periods of sitting.
  • Ability to walk and climb stairs as part of the role.
