About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Rad/CT Technologist to join our team at Texas Health Allen. As a PRN technologist, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our Radiology department.

Responsibilities
  • Position patients to correct anatomical areas of interest
  • Perform complex procedures, including age-related criteria and developmental considerations
  • Adjust technique parameters appropriately for age-related factors
  • Assist radiologists with complex and invasive procedures using aseptic technique
  • Maintain attention to detail and process and manipulate images, analyzing image quality and troubleshooting as needed
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology
  • Associate degree preferred
  • 1 year of radiologic technician experience with or without ARRT-CT certification
  • ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists certification upon hire
  • CMRT - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist certification upon hire
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support certification prior to providing independent patient care
