We are currently seeking a full-time Surface Grinding Technician for our 2nd and 3rd shifts. This role involves operating specialized grinding machinery to meticulously remove material from production components, ensuring adherence to specifications for thickness, flatness, parallelism, and surface finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate grinding machinery and execute necessary grinding processes to meet product specifications as outlined in blueprints or production schedules.
  • Interpret and comprehend blueprints, including symbols, specifications, and dimensional constraints.
  • Utilize and interpret inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and check gauges effectively.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in grinding operations is advantageous.
  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Proficiency in using computers and related technology is essential.
  • Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and production instructions.
  • Competence in using and understanding inspection gauges and equipment.
  • Strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and achieve objectives efficiently.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs without restrictions on sitting, lifting, or bending.
